BAND CAMP August 3 - August 7
CAMP WILL BE HELD AT BEL AIRE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL
(Vintage High campus is closed due to construction)
Our new instrumental director, Joshuah Jerge, has an exciting and ambitious Fall season planned. If your student is enrolled in Performance Band or Color guard, their attendance is mandatory. Dates and schedule are listed below.
Expect a more structured band camp than in years past. Mr. Jerge has employed a handful of assistant instructors to help each section! This week is critical to learning new music & drill, relearning marching basics, and bonding with your teammates.
Parents: please attend the Wednesday, August 5th parent meeting at 7:30pm at Bel Aire just before pickup!
Students: be sure to dress appropriately for HOT weather! Hats, sunscreen, clothing you can move in, tennis shoes, etc - and BRING PLENTY OF WATER.

Monday (Aug. 3): 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM (Lunch provided 11a)
Tuesday (Aug. 4): 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM (no meal)
Wednesday (Aug. 5): 1:00 PM – 8:00 PM (Dinner provided 5p + Parent Meeting at 7:30p)
Thursday (Aug. 6): 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM (Lunch Provided 11a)
Friday (Aug. 7): 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM (Lunch Provided 11a)

THE IMPORTANCE OF BINGO:
Sunday Bingo in Napa is an important fundraiser because it financially supports our instrumental program and allows us many opportunities to experience. Our Music Booster families and Bingo manager work tirelessly to provide much needed funding for us to obtain items like sheet music, instruments, equipment, and buses for trips, to name a few. We need you, our instrumental parents, to make Bingo work. See the Music Boosters website to read more about Bingo and how to sign up for a shift (click here: VHS Music Boosters bingo page ).
